Abu Jayed stole the show, removing Virat Kohli for a second-ball duck but Mayank Agarwal (91*) remained solid as he took India to 188 for three at lunch on Day 2 of the Indore Test. Resuming on their overnight total of 86/1, both Pujara and Mayank looked solid at the start but Jayed broke the 91-run stand between the two batsmen, removing Pujara shortly after his 23rd fifty. In his very next over, Jayed got the big wicket of Virat with the help of DRS to put India in a spot of bother. But then Mayank and Ajinkya Rahane stitched an unbeaten 69-run partnership to drive India forward. In the process, India also got past Bangladesh's first innings total. At the break India had a 38-run first-innings lead.

Pitch report, Day 2: "The wicket is straw coloured today. I think it is going to be a very good pitch to bat on. The sun beating down on it has eaten up and dried up some of the grass. Some of the foot-marks will come into play on day 3 more than today. These divots are in places but are placed short of a length. But only if you are a quick bowler, you can land on these areas and get something out of it, said Sunil Gavaskar and Murali Kartik.
Pujara (43*) and Mayank (37*) looked good at the crease in the final session on Day 1. The duo will now look to play cautiously in the first hour of the morning session on the second day and from there on capitalize and put India in firm control of the Test.

8:20 am Hello and welcome back. It's day two of the first Test between India and Bangladesh in Indore, and we at TimesofIndia.com will once again bring you all the live updates and scores from the field of action.
On one of the bounciest tracks in recent times, Bangladesh were bundled out for 150 in 58.3 overs on the opening day at the Holkar Stadium, and India ended the day at 86 for 1 in 26 overs, losing Rohit Sharma's (6) wicket in the process.
Umesh Yadav (2/47 in 14.3 overs), Ishant Sharma (2/20 in 12 overs) and Mohammed Shami (3/27 in 13 overs) made life difficult for the visitors who folded up meekly after opting to bat first after winning the toss.
Cheteshwar Pujara (43*) took control of India's innings with Mayank Agarwal (37*) as the duo added 72 runs before stumps.
Today, the hosts have a chance to firm their grip on the Test and push Bangladesh further back by putting up a huge first-innings total on the board.
