End of 121st over: Another tidy over from Kagiso Rabada from the other end. Both Rabada and Keshav Maharaj bowling really well in tandem. After a maiden previous from Maharaj, Rabada follows it with a one-run over. New man in Ravindra Jadeja taking his time to settle in. IND 382/4

Rahane walks back after scoring 59 runs. 100th Test wicket for Keshav Maharaj.
114.4 overs: FOUR! Virat Kohli gets going post lunch. Half-volley from Kagiso Rabada and Kohli gets the perfect on-drive. Timing and placement was exquisite on that one from Virat.

Welcome back to the post lunch session. Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane are back on the field to resume India innings after the break. Senuran Muthusamy has the ball in hand for South Africa.
Lunch Break!
Virat Kohli 26th Test ton highlighted the morning session as India went to lunch at 356/3 on Day 2 of the second Test in Pune. Kohli, who scored a Test century after a gap of almost 10 months played brilliantly in the morning session. His deputy Ajinkya Rahane provided excellent support from the other end as the duo stitched an unbeaten 158-run partnership for the fourth wicket. Resuming on the overnight score of 273/3, both Kohli and Rahane started tentatively as Kagiso Rabada and Vernon Philander got movement off the pitch. But the duo fought back and played cautiously to take India inning forward. In the process, Rahane got to his 20th fifty. Kohli soon after reached the three-figure mark as India went into the break in a strong position. For South Africa, it was a disappointing session as the bowlers remained wicketless.

100 for Virat Kohli!
His first of the year in Tests. Gets to his 26th ton off 173 balls. Gets a Test century after a gap of almost 10 months. The last century for Virat (140) came in December 2018 against Australia in Perth. A sigh of relief for the Indian skipper as he gets to the three-figure mark. Virat batted beautifully in the testing conditions early on Day 2. A well deserved hundered for the skipper.

Pitch report, Day 2: "The pitch will play a lot better as it has dried up. The second new ball is still hard and new, for South Africa to get back into the game they have to get their line and length right. The red spot on a good length - in line with the off-stump - is one where they should be concentrating. It's the 'don't know' zone for the batters. Mix it up with the odd short ball, to make sure the batsman is not certain whether to get forward or not," said Sunil Gavaskar.
Meanwhile, swashbuckling all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who is currently recovering from a lower back surgery turned 28 today.

Virat Kohli, who last scored a Test century in December 2018 (140 in Perth) in Australia, will look to end the drought in the longest format.
After a good first day outing, India will now look to capitalize on the good platform. Skipper Virat Kohli is unbeaten on 63 alongside his deputy Ajinkya Rahane on 18.
Hello and welcome to the Live coverage of Day 2 of the second Test between India and South Africa in Pune.
PREVIEW:
Mayank Agarwal hit his second century in successive matches on the opening day of the second Test against South Africa Thursday and said his side should aim for a 500-run first innings. The opener, who made a double century in India's opening Test win, scored 108 after the hosts elected to bat.
India were 273-3 when bad light forced an early end to play, with skipper Virat Kohli unbeaten on 63 and vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane on 18. Kohli and Rahane put on 75 runs for the fourth wicket to thwart South Africa's determined bowlers who kept them under pressure as the gloom crept in.
Agarwal, 28, said he was thrilled with his performance.
"The team is in a good position, winning the toss, batting first and with one batsman short, it's a good thing to make runs... 450-500 would be nice," Agarwal said.
"Try and get big runs in the first innings... (that) could help us in case we don't want to bat again. It could really put pressure on the South Africans."
Kohli, leading the Test side for the 50th time, reached his half-century with a boundary off fast bowler Vernon Philander. But Agarwal took the lead role despite being hit on the helmet from a bouncer by debutant paceman Anrich Nortje. He went on to hit Nortje for three glorious off drives in one over before lunch.
The right-handed batsman put on 138 runs for the second wicket with Cheteshwar Pujara, who made 58, to steady the innings after the fall of Rohit Sharma early in the day. He was eventually caught in the slips by South African captain Faf du Plessis -- one of fast bowler Kagiso Rabada's three wickets for the day.
"There were periods where I was getting boundaries very easily, there were periods where they bowled very good line and lengths and were testing the bouncer as well," said Agarwal, who is playing his sixth Test since making his debut last year.
Rabada also claimed Sharma, who edged the ball into the gloves of wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock for 14 in the 10th over. That was a disappointment for Sharma, who hit twin centuries in his first run as Test opener in Visakhapatnam where India took a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.
Rabada struck again to get Pujara, caught again by du Plessis, just before tea. Pujara, who was dropped by Temba Bavuma before he scored, hit a six and nine fours. Rabada returned figures of 3-48 in 18.1 overs.
Victory for India in the series will see them beat the record of 10 straight home series wins they share with Australia.
