NEW DELHI: Having gone down 1-4 to the English in the Test series in England, Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli steered the team back to winning ways, albeit at home, thanks to a dominant 2-0 series whitewash against a depleted West Indies team. This in fact was India's tenth straight series win on home soil.
Virat's grit, determination and never say die attitude on the field is no secret and his hard work over the years has seen him turn into one of the fittest players in the international cricketing arena and also perhaps the most prolific run-getter in the world.
On Monday Virat took to Twitter to share a collage of two of his images. One from many years ago and one a current picture, that shows the transformation in his fitness levels and his journey from an U-19 World Cup winning captain to the Number 1 Test batsman in the world. Virat added a caption that read, "With focus and hard work, anything is possible. Keep working, keep believing. Have a super day everyone."
Virat's next assignment is the five-match ODI series vs West Indies, which begins on Sunday, with the first match being played in Guwahati.
